CPM Pet Policy & Deposit Schedule
Conquest Property Management welcomes responsible pet owners. All pets must be screened through PetScreening.com before move-in. Pet deposits are refundable and due at lease signing.
Dog Policy

Elevated Risk Breeds include, but are not limited to: Pit Bull, Cane Corso, Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd Dog, Presa Canario, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Akita, Siberian Husky, Wolf-Hybrids, Great Dane, Alaskan Malamute, Bull Mastiff, and Dogo Argentino. Breed determination is at CPM’s discretion. Elevated risk dogs require a $500 deposit and proof of $300,000 in animal liability insurance.

Pet Rent
In addition to the refundable pet deposit, a monthly pet rent of $10–$50 per pet may apply depending on the pet type and property. Pet rent amounts are outlined in your lease agreement.
Fair Housing Notice: Service animals and emotional support animals (ESAs) are not considered pets under Fair Housing guidelines. They are not subject to pet deposits, pet rent, or breed restrictions. Tenants must provide proper documentation through PetScreening.com.
Maximum of 2 pets per household unless otherwise approved. All pets must be current on vaccinations. Pet screening through PetScreening.com is required — this evaluates your pet’s breed, size, vaccination status, and behavior history.
Required Coverage
Renter’s Insurance for Pet Owners
All Conquest tenants are required to maintain renter’s insurance. This is especially important for pet owners — standard policies typically include liability coverage for pet-related incidents.
Option 1
Bring your own policy from any licensed insurer. Must list CPM as additionally insured.
Option 2
Purchase through our preferred provider at move-in. Competitive rates starting around $15/month.
Auto-Enrollment
If no policy is provided, a liability-only policy (~$15/mo) is auto-enrolled. This does NOT cover your belongings.
Important: The $15/month auto-enrolled policy covers liability only — it does NOT cover your personal belongings, furniture, electronics, or clothing. We strongly recommend purchasing a full renter’s insurance policy that includes personal property coverage.
